In the growing world of sustainable housing, the development of six biobased rental homes in De Tuinderij in Zundert stands out as a forward-thinking example of innovation, collaboration, and modern construction. Initiated by housing corporation Thuisvester and Maas-Jacobs, and supported by BINK from the early stages, this project challenges traditional building methods and embraces a smarter, more sustainable approach.

The homes are constructed using biobased, fully reusable materials—reducing environmental impact while ensuring long-term viability. Designed with a focus on circularity and efficiency, this project makes pulling electrical cables a thing of the past. Instead, plugging became the solution.

That’s where Plug and BIM played a key role: we were responsible for the 3D design and engineering of the entire electrical installation, using our pluggable system. Our plug-and-play approach fit seamlessly into the project's sustainable goals, offering major benefits in time savings, installation precision, and future flexibility. By eliminating traditional wiring methods, we helped simplify and accelerate the building process—without compromising quality or safety.
