In response to the growing demand for affordable and flexible housing, the municipality of Zaltbommel has launched the ambitious "De Tol" project in collaboration with Bazalt Wonen and Rabo SmartBuilds. This large-scale development aims to provide sustainable and innovative housing solutions for a wide range of target groups—from social housing to mid-range rentals.

With a total of 139 rental homes planned, the project emphasizes speed, efficiency, and long-term quality. Completion is expected in 2026, and the housing units are being developed with modern, scalable construction methods to help alleviate the local housing shortage.

At Plug and BIM, we were proud to contribute to this project by designing and engineering the entire electrical installation in 3D for all housing types. By applying our pluggable electrical system, we ensured a highly efficient installation process—reducing time on-site while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
